Invite rules

These rules add to our Terms of Service for anyone who shares a CloudFilm invite link. By sharing your link you agree to them.

How it works

• Every account has its own invite link (cloudfilm.ai/r/…) on the Invite & earn page. The same rules apply to everyone, however you share it — a video, a post, a message or word of mouth.
• A friend who opens your link and opens a new account within 60 days counts as your friend. If they open more than one person's link, the last one they opened counts.
• Your friend gets the same free first film every new account gets, plus 3 extra free credits the moment their account opens.

What you earn

• 3 credits when your friend makes their first film — a real clip made on CloudFilm.
• 15% of the money your friend pays, in US dollars, every time they pay, for 90 days from the day they signed up.
• Credits you earn work like any other credits and never expire. They can't be exchanged for money.
• Cash waits 30 days (the refund window) and is then paid by hand to your payout email — the one you give on the Invite & earn page, or your account email.
• You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.
• You get an email each time you earn, and everything you earned is listed on the Invite & earn page.
• We may agree a special deal with some people, such as a different share or a bonus.

Refunds

A reward follows the money. If your friend's payment is refunded or disputed, the cash for it is taken back in the same share — before it is paid, or after (it comes off the next payout).

Fair play

• No rewards for your own accounts — the same person, the same browser or the same card is not a friend.
• No spam: don't send your link to people who didn't ask, and don't post it where the rules of that place forbid it.
• Say that it is your invite link when you share it with an audience (for example “my invite link”), as advertising rules require.
• Don't pretend to be CloudFilm, buy ads on our name, or promise people money.
• Each account earns up to 30 first-film rewards a month. Cash on payments has no limit.
• If we see cheating, we may pause an account's rewards, take back rewards that broke these rules, or close the account.

Changes

We may change the rewards or end the program at any time; what you earned before a change stays yours. The numbers on this page are always the ones in use.
